Hello, I am Vanessa and I am an Independent Sales Consultant as well as Educational Services Rep for Usborne & Kane Miller Books. I hadn't given reading much thought until my daughter came along and somebody bought us books for our shower. The first few weeks of life we started reading a book to her. I quickly saw how her face lit up, so I kept reading to her everyday. It hit me like a ton of bricks, this is how children learn; they hear you speak. Early on they react by smiling, looking, & touching. Next they'll try and make the same sounds as you, they'll eventually start saying the words you say to them and then they start reading to YOU! My biggest dream is to a smile on a families face!

*Literacy for a Lifetime*

Can you imagine getting free books for your school or class room? Well it's absolutely possible with Literacy for a Lifetime! Oh and the best part!!! YOUR CONSULTANT (ME) does all the work for you. All you do is give me written consent and stand back and watch the books roll in! OH yeah, you'll have to choose which books you want!!!!!!

 Example: Timmy's 3rd grade elementary class needed some new books to help with multiplication and Mr. Timmy didn't want to stress his students out too much, so she wanted the No Worries book as well. So Mr. Timmy gives me permission to ask for donations on their behalf. Now, let's say Rainbows&Angels Photography decided to donate $250. Usborne Books will automatically match 50% of that. So Mr. Timmy would get $250 in donations for books and an additional $125 from Usborne Books so that's $375.00 IN FREE BOOKS. It's a WIN WIN!! 

(Home schools and other organizations can take part in this as well!!!)
