Hello, I am Vanessa and I am an Independent Sales Consultant as well as Educational Services Rep for Usborne & Kane Miller Books. I hadn't given reading much thought until my daughter came along and somebody bought us books for our shower. The first few weeks of life we started reading a book to her. I quickly saw how her face lit up, so I kept reading to her everyday. It hit me like a ton of bricks, this is how children learn; they hear you speak. Early on they react by smiling, looking, & touching. Next they'll try and make the same sounds as you, they'll eventually start saying the words you say to them and then they start reading to YOU! My biggest dream is to a smile on a families face!

**TIMES!!**


Who likes math? Not a lot really. How about helping your kids get excited about math? 

 I know as a kid I loved to play "school" with my Nanny. She would buy books like this and I would be the teacher and her the student. She would get all the answers wrong on purpose so I would have to teach her why it was wrong! That actually helped me learn!! Plus I got to make awesome memories with my Nanny!!! 

 This book has 75 pages that are tear aways so it's perfect for playing school with! Teacher actually passes out papers! (Do they still do that in 2018)
